The main reason for joining a one-name family history society is usually to make contact with other people descended from the same family unit, people who share your enthusiasm and are happy to pass on their experience.
Membership of the Society can be obtained through the Membership Secretary by completing the Membership Application form and including a membership fee. The annual subscriptions, due on the 1st June each year, are:
Potential members may pay online via Parish Chest, or print, complete and return this form . Overseas membership is paid through Parish Chest. Members who have used the online option will be emailed a short questionnaire.
For existing UK members please consider paying your annual subscription by Standing Order. As well being the most efficient way to pay your annual subscription it means that the society benefits from the full subscription and does not lose a percentage in commission. A form can be downloaded here .
If you have any questions or concerns please make an enquiry of Alan R Moorhouse Membership Secretary via email
The membership form has space for you to give details of your earliest known Cave ancestor. You may also provide a brief family tree if you have one. You are given the option to have your name and a brief outline of your lineage published on the Cave FHS website and included in the first available issue of the journal.
